Microsoft’s Vision: Bing Chat to Reach Users on Every Browser

Microsoft plans to make Bing Chat available on all browsers soon. Currently, Bing Chat is limited to Microsoft Edge, but Bing’s CEO, Mikhail Parakhin, has been indicating on Twitter for several weeks that the company intends to expand browser compatibility.

In a recent tweet, Parakhin stated, “We are bringing it to all the browsers soon.” The delay in immediate implementation is attributed to the need to concentrate on graphical processing units (GPUs) where most customers are located. By adding GPUs, Microsoft aims to improve the availability and performance of Bing Chat across all browsers.

Furthermore, Parakhin mentioned that Microsoft Edge offers additional native support for features like the side pane, which may not be present in other browsers.

It’s worth noting that Google has a similar approach with its chat service, SGE (Search Engine), which currently requires Chrome as a browser. The browser requirements will eventually be eliminated so users can access Bing Chat and SGE on any browser.
