Today, I will explore the current situation of Bing Pub Hub. It is widely known that Google frequently updates its search engine algorithms. We have concerns about the safety of Google Search and Google News. The continuous updates from Google have hurt online businesses and various sectors, making it seem unstable. Therefore, I need an additional source of visitors to establish my news website within one year.
Where can you find Bing Pub Hub?
Finding Bing Pub Hub is not difficult at all. I discovered it within Bing Webmaster Tools. However, if you search for Bing News as you would for Google News, you won’t find it. Bing Pub Hub offers almost the same services as Google News. To get started, follow these steps:
- For Bing Pub Hub News approval, provide basic information about your website to Bing Webmasters. It includes the site name, language, country, audience, address, and a brief description under the site info section.
- Add your URLs/RSS/Sitemaps to Bing Pub Hub.
- Fill out the contact form.
I cannot speak for others’ approval times, but it took approximately one month for my website to be approved and go live.
Google News or Bing Pub Hub?
Am I abandoning Google News? Not. Google News has a vast audience, and with AdSense, it provides profitable income for content writers. However, I also highly hope Bing Pub Hub will grow and provide monetization opportunities. You can find the Bing monetization option within Bing Webmasters. Open the link and join their wishlist. Hopefully, they will activate it soon.
If you observe Bing’s progress, you will be amazed. Bing is consistently updating its internal systems and striving to reach a level where it can generate ad revenue and offer income opportunities to news publishers.
One thing that has disappointed me about Google is its performance in May 2023. The entire month has been challenging with Google searches. Hence, I am considering Bing Pub Hub as a safer alternative.

However, Google News has already established itself, while Bing Pub Hub is striving to improve its position in the market. Ultimately, deciding which platform to choose depends on your needs and preferences. I see the value in utilizing both platforms.
